Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) melakukan penelitian tahap ketiga terhadap benda koleksi di Museum Prabu Siliwangi yang berada di Pondok Pesantren Dzikir Modern Al Fath Kota Sukabumi.
Pendiri Museum Prabu Siliwangi sekaligus Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al Fath, KH Fajar Laksana mengatakan, sebelumnya pihaknya telah menandatangani MoU dalam hal kerjasama di bidang penelitian untuk pendidikan.
Lebih lanjut kata KH Fajar, penelitian kali ini berfokus pada benda-benda seperti batuan, logam, dan keramik. Beberapa waktu yang lalu kegiatan yang sama telah dilakukan dua kali dan benda yang diteliti meliputi arca, uang zaman dulu, naskah-naskah ulama nusantara, dan barang-barang antik peninggalan masa kolonial belanda.
“Penelitian ketiga ini fokus kepada benda keramik, benda batu, dan benda logam, jadi tiga fokus yang ada di museum. Museum Prabu Siliwangi bendanya sangat banyak ada ribuan benda, kita sudah tiga kali belum selesai, karena penelitian ini tidak bisa semuanya,” ujar KH Fajar, Kamis (16/1/2024).
Dari hasil penelitian KH Fajar menyebut, di Museum Prabu Siliwangi terdapat benda-benda koleksi zaman yang diakui keasliannya. Salah satunya terdapat keramik yang dibuat sejak tahun 10 masehi.
“Kemudian benda batuan itu ada yang prototype batu kujang itu yang umurnya 20 sampai 30 juta tahun yang lalu. Jadi benda di kita ini dari benda prasejarah, sejarah, sampai dengan kemerdekaan,” lanjut KH Fajar.
“Ini belum selesai karena tahap berikutnya kita akan melakukan tahap penelitian yang lainnya karena belum beres. Jadi benda-benda di museum ini masih terus dilakukan penelitian sesuai dengan yang diperlukan,” pungkasnya.
Peneliti Ahli Madya BRIN yang fokus meneliti logam, Triwurjani mengatakan, pihaknya meneliti benda-benda logam yang terdapat di Museum Prabu Siliwangi diantaranya terdapat kujang, keris, dan mata tombak yanh masuk kedalam masa prasejarah akhir.
“Masa berikutnya banyak ditemukan kujang di sini. Ada keris, terus mata tombak kan itu bervariasi dari masanya. Jadi itu umur relatif bukan absolut kalau logam secara absolut itu dia memerlukan satu treatment yang panjang,” kata Triwurjani.
“Jadi sudah ada pandai besi dan sebagainya yang membuat itu. Jadi bukan di masa jaman batu jadi secara evolusi jaman batu sudah bergeser adi prasejarah akhir,” singkatnya.
Peneliti Ahli Madya BRIN yang fokus meneliti keramik, Yusmaini Eriawati mengatakan, Museum Prabu Siliwangi memiliki koleksi keramik yang beragam bahkan yang tertua terdapat keramik yang dibuat pada tahun 10 masehi.
“Koleksi keramik museum ini ada yang tertua abad 10. Itu kita bandingkan banyak ditemukan di situs-situs kayak Borobudur, Prambanan. Di sini juga ada walaupun satu selebihnya itu memang kebanyakan keramik-keramik cina Dinasti Ming abad 17. Tapi kebanyakan keramik Dinasti cing itu abad 19,” ujar Yusmaini.
“Yang istimewanya lagi di sini ternyata ada keramik lain juga ada keramik Thailand, Jepang, ada juga Eropa. Eropa ini kebanyakan botol-botol buat mereka itu Ginger wine biasanya buat minuman jahe penghangat. Itu ada buatan Inggris, Belanda, Jerman,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu Peneliti Ahli Utama BRIN yang fokus meneliti batu-batuan, Jatmiko menyebut, jika koleksi batu yang diambil dari salah satu gunung di wilayah Palabuhanratu memiliki nilai sejarah dan keunikan.
“Pakai survei itu jadi itu membuktikan apalagi pak kyai banyak koleksi yang tadi disebutkan batu-batu alam yang sudah saya lihat itu menyerupai binatang-binatang kan ada ikan-ikan lumba-lumba, lele macam-macam kan mirip sekali,” kata Jatmiko.
Selain itu juga terdapat batu yang biasa digunakan masyarakat 3.000 tahun lalu untuk upacara-upacara tertentu seperti pemakaman.
“Batu-batu yang dikoleksi Pak Kyai ini ada yang dipakai bekal kubur namanya beliung yang sudah diasah. Itu bukan berfungsi untuk ekonomis. Jadi kadang-kadang dipakai untuk sarana penguburan sama kendi,” ucap Jatmiko.
“Itu tidak hanya dipakai sebagai peralatan penunjang ekonomis kehidupan. Tapi juga dipakai dibikin bagus untuk simbolis bekal simati ke alam baka. Karena simati itu pada 3.000 tahun yang lalu belum mengenal adanya kuburan. Jadi mereka dikubur di goa,” pungkasnya.***
