Sukabumi, Jabar (ANTARA) – Kementerian Kebudayaan RI menjadikan kebudayaan yang juga kearifan lokal Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, yakni permainan Bola Leungeun Seuneu (Boles) atau bola tangan api yang dilestarikan Pondok Pesantren Dzikir Al-Fath Sukabumi sebagai Warisan Budaya Tak Benda Indonesia (WBTBI) tingkat nasional.
“Boles yang merupakan WBTBI ini merupakan kebanggaan dan jati diri bangsa yang merupakan warisan budaya turun menurun yang tentunya harus ada pengembangan dan pemanfaatan,” kata Menteri Kebudayaan RI Fadli Zon di Sukabumi, Rabu.
Fadli pun mengapresiasi pemanfaatan dan pengekspresian kebudayaan Boles ini yang ditunjukkan serta dipelihara oleh santri dan pengurus Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Dzikir Al-Fath.
Menurut dia, seluruh kebudayaan yang dikembangkan dan dilestarikan oleh ponpes yang dipimpin KH Fajar Laksana menjadi tempat edukasi, baik para santri maupun masyarakat, bahkan warga negara asing yang ingin belajar tentang kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan oleh Ponpes Dzikir Al-Fath.
Maka dari itu, kata Fadli, dijadikannya Boles ini sebagai WBTBI tingkat nasional bisa mendorong daerah lain ataupun ponpes-ponpes yang ada di Indonesia untuk melestarikan kebudayaan dan kearifan lokal yang ada di daerahnya masing-masing sebagai kebanggaan dan jati diri bangsa.
“Boles ini kemungkinan hanya ada di beberapa daerah di Indonesia, salah satunya di Kota Sukabumi, namun di luar negeri kebudayaan seperti ini tidak ada. Tentunya ini harus dimanfaatkan dan merupakan peluang untuk memperkenalkan kebudayaan bangsa ke dunia,” ujarnya.
Dia mengatakan, dampak positif yang didapat, salah satunya bisa meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara sehingga ekonomi daerah khususnya masyarakat bisa terdongkrak.
Sementara itu, pimpinan Ponpes Dzikir Al-Fath KH Fajar Laksana mengatakan pihaknya berterima kasih atas kunjungan Menteri Kebudayaan RI yang telah melihat langsung Museum Prabu Siliwangi yang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pembelajaran siswa dan bermain Boles yang telah ditetapkan sebagai ikon Kota Sukabumi.
Selain itu, Menteri Kebudayaan juga menyaksikan penampilan pencak silat dari Perguruan Silat (PS) Sang Mang Bodas yang menampilkan kemampuan dan keterampilan para santri.
“Tentunya ini menjadi kebanggaan dan kami berharap bahwa kunjungan ini dapat memberikan inspirasi dan motivasi Ponpes Dzikir Al-Fath Sukabumi untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan memperkenalkan kegiatan serta prestasi,” ujarnya.
